What is KAAM?
KAAM is a free service that connects freelancers and job seekers with employers that are in need of professional services for hire.

What is the cost of using ka.am?
Its completely free! Any freelancer or employer can register for free and start using the services.

How does KA.AM Nepal work?
The typical process works like this:

Employer posts project. Freelancers bid on project. Employer reviews bids, evaluates freelancers and awards project to a freelancer.

Freelancer accepts project and both of them make an agreement on terms and conditions of the project. Freelancer begins work on project. Employer and Freelancer communicate using internal private message system or any means of communication.

Once the freelancer finishes the project, the employer pays the freelancer by releasing all funds as per the agreement made earlier; freelancers online account is updated.

KA.AM Nepal does not take part in agreements or communications made between Employer & the Freelancer.

Are there any hidden fees associated with this service?
KA.AM Nepal is completely free service. Any user can join, post projects, and submit bid proposals free of charge. We do not take any fees for our online services.

How do I promote my skills and services?
KA.AM provides different ways to promote your services, skills and talents.

1. Public profile

a. Complete your Online Profile; including your contact details and other information. This will be presented in the search results where your profile appears.
b. Add Internet Messengers to your profile for easy communication with freelancers and employers.
c. Upload your personal/company image. Post a promotional YouTube video.
d. Choose your service line, the project category of your expertise. And set your profile visibility to public so everyone can view the details of your profile.
e. Write a brief Summary about yourself/company.

2. Work Samples provides an area to showcase any work you have done in the past. You may upload photos, images, Word documents, designs, templates; anything that will help showcases your talents and previous accomplished projects.

3. Resume provides a complete space to list your work experiences, educational background along with your other details.

4. Bid on projects. By doing the above, you will be ready to bid on projects when employers post them in the public service area or invite you to a private project.

5. Receive high ratings from employers you have done business with. These ratings will be publicly visible to employers when you bid on other projects.
